We make mental training a natural part of working life
Mindworkout was founded in 2015 on a simple conviction: the brain can be trained just as deliberately as the body, and it ought to be just as available at work. Ten years later, employers across the country train with us.
Founder and CEO
Caroline Spännar
Behavioural scientist (BSc from Lund University) with just over twenty years in HR at national and international companies. Caroline built Mindworkout to make established knowledge from sports psychology, neuroscience and therapy available to ordinary workplaces. She leads the work and is usually the first person you meet.
Our approach
Enabling, not passive caretaking
We lead the way, inspire and challenge. With us, mental training is about giving people the tools to perform and feel well over time. We keep a level that works in the management team, and we are clearly different from both soft wellness and digital therapy.
Our history
It started with an idea from the physical gym
Caroline Spännar and Anna-Klara Larsson founded Mindworkout in 2015.
Mindworkout was founded in 2015 by our current CEO Caroline Spännar and her colleague Anna-Klara Larsson, together with a large group of specialists. It grew out of many years of experience in HR at national and international companies, and out of a BSc in behavioural science at Lund University.
We saw that the pressure of modern working life lowers both wellbeing and productivity, while the research is clear: mental training can strengthen the brain's capacity and help us cope with more. We wanted to create a simple way to help leaders and employees handle pressure and perform sustainably.
The model is inspired by the physical gym. Just as with the body, it is possible to strengthen mental fitness and prevent future negative effects. For many people it is obvious to train the body regularly, and training the brain can become just as obvious.
I am passionate about spreading the mental tools so that more people feel better.
